Merry Christmas! You know, 'tis the season and all that... Anyway, while you all have been enjoying luffly Christmas dinners and prettily wrapped gifts, I have been slaving away over this site (<--- exaggeration).

First of all, I removed the only Death Note signature. It just wasn't at the same level as the rest of my graphics, and it annoyed me whenever I looked at it. I apologize if you liked it, but don't worry; I'll try to have a similar but much better one up sometime in the near future.

I also made an animated Inuyasha avatar (if you know the song, go you) and rearranged the avatars a bit. It occurred to me that since the animated avatars I make are so big, they may make some computers run very slowly when they're all on the same page like they were. So, I decided to divide them into pages based on anime (the numbers beside the anime title are how many avatars are on that page). I hope this helps!

Hey, look, another update! ^^ Well, anyway, all pages should look right now. If they don't, tell me so through Email or the Contact Me page.

What else is up? An enter sign (the one I'm currently using), a new affie (Otaku Tenshi), a new Guess the Pic picture, and 3 new fanfics (one FFIX, two Inuyasha). I've also added the rest of the chapters for Dominoes and updated the Inuyasha episode list to include the last ones. That's all for now, but more will come soon.

-gasp- Is this... Could it be... Why, I think it's actually... an update! O.O I'm very sorry for not updating in a while. I've been busy with schoolwork and presents for friends and such, and I haven't really found time to work on this site as much as I want to.

As you have no doubt noticed, there's a new layout up. There are also two new avatars, one animated and one not (the avatars I'm using currently), and I'll put the splash sign up later. I know that some of the pages are messed up, but I'm tired right now and I have school tomorrow... later today... (it's 1 AM) so I'll do it after. But guess what? After today, I'm done with school! Yipee! I can't wait for Christmas! ^^

Already I have some new stuff up! There's a new Guess the Pic picture and a new award received from Inuyasha: BTFSW. The layout information has been updated, and I've added 3 Inuyasha music videos (1 by me, 2 by Kagome Priestess). I created thumbnails for the Images section, added 1 Inuyasha wallpaper, 2 signatures (1 Inuyasha, 1 Death Note), and added 1 affie ( Serenade Designs). That's all for now, but I'm working on a D.N. Well, I failed NaNoWriMo. Miserably, I might add. Oh well, there's always next year! I have to remember not to procrastinate so much. That was, I believe, my downfall. Anyway, guess what? I have a new layout! This beautiful layout was made by Lizzie of Inuyasha: Beyond the Family Shrine Well. It's an award for winning 3rd place in the July SOTM contest. Now, I know the navigation and such doesn't look too good in Firefox, but this is definitely a layout worth viewing in Internet Explorer. <3

I'm planning on getting more stuff up soon (how many times have you heard that?) and updating more. I put up the third D.N. Angel episode up the other day, and I'm going to work on more graphics and such now that I have more time. Please note that since this is December and the end of the school semester, I will likely be busy with Christmas stuff and Semester finals in school. I'll still try for a lot of new stuff, though.

In case you haven't noticed already, it's a definite maybe that there will be nothing new until December. I typed 10,000 words on Wednesday in my novel, so I'll be d**ned if I don't get 50k by the end of November. I'm working on it nonstop and stuff, but I did manage to get the 3rd D.N. Angel episode up and update the fave song under Webmistress.

You see, I've decided to try and finish NaNoWriMo, even if the lack of sleep kills me. I've also decided to post what I have done on Gaia Online. While some of you will be cheering me, saying things like, "Yay, good for you to keep trying," the rest of you will realize what this truly means: little to no updates for the rest of the month. Unfortunately, spending more time on my novel means spending less time on my site. I will still try to update and such, but don't count on it until December.

EDIT: AGH! My mind just won't make itself up! I just went on a mini graphics spree and created an enter sign and three moved signs. But now I'm going to try and force myself to work on my novel so I can get it DONE.

I've been a busy little bee lately! ^^ In addition to putting up the first Fruits Basket episode, I've changed the "guess the pic", wrote a FullMetal Alchemist summary, and created thumbnails for my graphics (idea suggested by Chrystal of Inuyasha - Karma). I've also added a good start award and a second style for the cute site award under Awards for You. A new fanfiction, Sesshoumaru's Plan, has been added, and I'll be updating Dominoes later today.

And just think: I did all this while I was supposed to be working on my two school projects. Tsk tsk, Akana. Tsk tsk. Oh well! This is way more fun. ^^

I'll be working on getting some more Fruits Basket and D.N. Angel episodes up, and maybe the first few FullMetal Alchemist ones. I may even get the first Inuyasha movie up, though it's unlikely. Who knows? Keep your eyes open for new updates! ^^

Well, well, what've we got here? I believe it's -- no, it can't be... Why, it is! It's a new layout! -gasp-

This was actually an unexpected thing for me. I made a FullMetal Alchemist layout, got it all coded and everything, did all the hard parts of finding the right colors and stuff, and then... didn't ever put it up. I just didn't want to bother myself with it, I guess. But then I started watching/reading Death Note, and I suddenly felt the urge to create this layout. You can read more about it in the 'about layout' section.

Also, I put up a new div premade layout featuring Yuki from Fruits Basket. I've pretty much given up NaNoWriMo, so I'll be dedicating most (if not all) of my time to graphics and media and info. I'll be putting up the first Fruits Basket episode later today, after I've edited some things around the site to make it look prettier.

One last thing: Shattered Illusions now has a new affie! Everyone welcome Shinryuken Dojo Graphics! <3

I've taken off the "manga" section under Media. I really want to post the manga, believe me, but neither I nor my friends have a working scanner and I don't want to use the pages that someone else scanned for various reasons: A) I want the manga scans to be from the official English versions, but a lot of manga scans on the web have fan translations; B) Someone took a lot of time scanning and resizing every page, and I don't want to steal that work from someone else; C) Many scanned pages don't have exactly top-notch quality, or the pages are too big and I have to scroll to see the whole thing. Basically, unless I get a scanner, I'm not posting manga on this site.

I'm working on a new layout for the site, and a new premade layout! <3 Yuki-chan from Fruits Basket is the main character for the premade, but the site one will be a surprise. You should see both up in the days to come! ^.~

NaNoWriMo is going... horribly. I'm about 10,000 words behind schedule. T.T I really need to make myself write!

My NaNoWriMo novel is going down the toilet. It sucks. I'm thinking about randomly changing to a completely different story, like one of NaNo's emails suggested (they give you tips through emails sometimes if you suscribe). Or maybe I'll just try again next year.

In other news, I made a new music video! -shock- There are also a few questions under Ask the Characters that've been answered, if you want to take a look. I've been browsing the web, looking for new affies since my old ones have pretty much deserted me (or just not read the update for October 35th).

In real life events, I watched V for Vendetta yesterday, and I'm contemplating a place on this site for live action movie graphics, since I made a V for Vendetta signature. Here it is, if you want to see it.

Hello everyone! I'm a few days late, but happy Halloween to those who celebrate it! I've already given special gifts to my affies, but here's a general Halloween gift to anyone who wants it: Clicky. I hope you all had a really good Halloween, because I know I did! Sorta, anyway. I was a gypsy, but only three people guessed it the first time: some guy I don't know that well, a girl I sit with at lunch, and my dad. The most popular guesses I got were a pirate, a hobo, and a hippie.

In other news, I'm in the NaNoWriMo competition thingy, meaning I'll be using a lot of my time this month writing a 50k word novel. This means that I'll have little time to spend on this site. :( I'll try my best to update some, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do all that much.

Speaking of updating, I've put up two animated avatars: one from Rurouni Kenshin, one from an anime I don't know (found the pic on Advanced Anime). I'm going to be putting up a new layout soon, and when I do, this layout will go under premade with the Shattered Illusions logo gone.

Hm, that's all I can think of for now. Only two of my affies have contacted me about remaining affies, but I believe it's because most people don't read the updates. :S Oh well. Out for now!
