I used to have a site, Dark Nights, that had been open a long time, but it was dedicated to Inuyasha. Well, I started watching and liking other anime more, and I decided that I'd scrap the old site and start a fresh new one with better graphics and more anime.

It's hard to believe that I just started this site October 25, 2006. I could swear it's been much longer than that. O.o In any case, that's how this site started, as an escape from the all-consuming Inuyasha-ness of my previous site.

This layout was made by the wonderful Pange from Magitek Designs and features Yuna from FFX-2.

I had a different layout that I wanted to do with a drawing that I did, but I set it up in a complicated way and didn't feel like figuring out how to code it. Instead, I turned to Magitek, the site that helped me learn how to code layouts and that still helps me when I'm in a jam sometimes. I fell in love with this layout the second I saw it.

I changed some of the colors a little, made an enter sign, and changed some of the coding to make it easier for me, but other than that, I didn't have to do anything. All credit and thanks go to Magitek. <3

Where did Shattered Illusions come from, exactly? Well, to tell the truth, I'm not particularly sure myself. Usually, the way I come up with site names is to write down a whole bunch of two-word names and decide which one fits best, but for this one, it just popped into my head. Well, that may not be entirely true. I'm very fond of "Shattered" for part of a site name, but I could never think of what to combine it with. Same with "Illusions". Well, poof: Shattered Illusions! ^^

Yeah... There's really not so much to it.
